I heard about the hobble creek half marathon and thought that sounded like a good idea.....what the crap was I thinking!! I have never run more than three miles and I still figured it would be no big deal, why didn't someone stop me? Unbelieveably I finished it, how long did it take me...well let's just say they don't have any metals or flowers for me! I can hardly move and Brooke, Mignon and I were all too sore and tired to even stand up for a picture so I have none to share(just imagine me laid out flat on the grass in the park at the finish line and you will have a pretty good idea). Don't think I will be doing that again anytime soon, Andy can be the athelete in the family! Here are some pics of 1300 crazy people crammed in a canyon..

Haha...I can't help but chuckle when I read this. Good for you for doing it Whitney. You're my hero. I would be like "Alright, this is fun....{5 mins later} Okay, well that's good. LATER!!!".
So the point is...you FINISHED. Wahoo!
Go Whitney....Go Whitney!
I love running...it's such a fun thing to WATCH...lol
I am just glad you finished and are still alive! I thought about you on Sat and said a little prayer for you too! I love ya and I am glad you learned your lesson
Way to go!!!! That is truely amazing. Although you have NEVER EVER been a quitter. You are such a strong girl. Tony did that run a few years back and I hurt watching him. He trained with Tyler B. who was 17 at the time.
Hey girl! I'm proud of you for running a half marathon! The only thing is that women like you who have had children and are running marathons make me look bad so stop it! Love ya!
Love this post! Mostly because of your humor, but also because of your inner strength. I'm so inspired. You rock! Oh...and thanks for the nice comment you left. But which would you rather; a cute blog or cute kids...you win! Miss you.
