He has been training for months and today it all paid off!
The triathlon included a 400 meter swim...
9 mile bike...
and 5K run...
The kids kept busy climbing trees, napping, and cheering for dad!
Andy made great time and even finished 4th in his age group(we aren't telling how old that is)! To make it more fun he got a group of friends from the neighborhood and they had a little side bet...the loser gets to dress up like a woman on the next guys night out! Let's just say Andy won't be wearing the dress!!
Then we all went out to lunch to celebrate, have we mentioned we love our neighbors!
This is daddy's 2nd triathlon, his first was in March where he had another side bet that the loser would have to wear a really frightening shirt! What is it with my husband and his bets to wear horrible clothes? At least he's fast and never actually has to be the wearer!

Andy, where did you find the stunt double to stand in? I've been trying to get a look alike to stand in for our family pictures, for a while now, with no luck. It's sad when they have to shoot your family in 'Panorama' to fit you in the shot. I hope I can lose this dumptruck I'm dragging around and join you next time.
